Terms of Sale and Licence

Who you are dealing with

Tunestack is made and licensed by Suraj Kumar. Purchases are processed by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record — so your payment contract and your invoice are with them, and this licence is with us.

What you are buying

You are buying a licence to use Tunestack, not the software itself. The licence is personal to you, non-exclusive and non-transferable.

You may install and use it on any Mac you own or personally control, for personal or business work. There is no device limit and no activation quota.

The price is $19, paid once. It is not a subscription and it does not renew. Applicable tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are.

Updates

Your licence covers version 1.0 and every later update we release under that version line, at no extra cost. If a future release is ever a separate paid product, it will be sold as one and your existing licence will keep working.

We are not obliged to release updates on any schedule, or to keep supporting versions of macOS that Apple no longer supports.

What you may not do

Please do not resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app or your licence key, share your key publicly, or remove copyright and identification notices from it.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except to the extent that law expressly permits despite this restriction — for example for interoperability under applicable EU or UK law.

Refunds, and your right to change your mind

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. Because the download is available immediately, you will be asked at checkout to consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that doing so ends that right once the download begins. That consent is yours to give or withhold.

Regardless of where you live, if Tunestack does not do what this website says it does, write to us within 14 days of buying and we will refund you. You do not have to justify it and we will not make you sit through a support script first.

The one thing we will push back on is a refund request for something the home page already tells you Tunestack cannot do — the limitations are listed there precisely so that nobody buys on a false impression.

What you need to run it

macOS 26.1 or later · Apple silicon. If your Mac does not meet that, the app will not run, and that is a refund case — please check before buying.

What Tunestack does not promise

It cannot stop another app taking a device. An application that opens its own audio session and demands a specific device will get it. Tunestack sits above that layer: it can notice and switch back, but it cannot prevent the change.

Switching is fast, not instant. There is a deliberate short delay before it acts, because real hardware reports a single physical plug several times.

AirPlay is not claimed. Whether AirPlay devices behave like wired and Bluetooth ones has not been verified, so we do not claim it works with them.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as it is. Beyond what these terms say, and beyond what the law requires of us, we make no other warranties — including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

This does not affect your statutory rights. If you are a consumer, the law of your country gives you rights about goods and digital content being as described and of satisfactory quality, and nothing here removes or limits those.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with Tunestack is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party software

Tunestack is written in Swift and uses Apple's own frameworks. This website uses Lenis and Sortable.js, both under the MIT licence, and the Geist and Geist Mono typefaces under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1. Their licences are respected and their authors keep their copyright.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to you is the one published on the day you bought your licence, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, nor of the right to bring a claim there.
